 The patron of this work was healed of cancer by the divine power of prayer eight years prior to sitting for a  portrait. She also posed as the model for this unnamed Biblical woman whose life/ body Jesus touched and healed. The original is in a private collection and an artist copy hangs in the Sacred Arts Museum and Gallery at Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
